The Ugly Indian – Leadership in action..

Posted on Posted in Leadership
Today, I came across an interesting group of people called – “The Ugly Indian”. This is an NGO which has started its work by transforming how a busy commercial street in Bangalore – Church Street looked like.
Introduction on their website is as below:

They believe that it is possible to change behavior if one is able to understand the root cause and provide a sustainable alternative by being persistent and inclusive.

They have found some interesting ways to solve the civic problems that plague all our cities in India. This methodology when applied can also be used to change deep rooted culture of corporates and hence can have significant impact.

It is also interesting that they have decided to remain anonymous. They have in fact provided all the information about all the people who worked with them on these initiatives but no information about their core team. This intrigue is also working in their favour.

I would like to wish them all the very best in all their future undertakings.

Excellent leadership in action !!!!
