Really enjoyed this short video where Sam shares how and what we can learn from the way pirates work in order for us to be able to rewrite the rules of the game.

Here is the list of characteristics that we can draw from pirates that Sam refers to and I quote

They are usually highly talented but under-appreciated.
In conclusion:
This sounds more like a highly successful entrepreneur than a pirate. Maybe they are not very different in some deep sense, I guess.
Both create and exploit opportunities. Both lead people and do something that they think will provide them the highest return on their investments proportionate to the risk that they take on. Both have strong self-belief and confidence.
